We are Stephen and Melanie Eubanks.

We met in December of 1986 and were married shortly thereafter, on February 6, 1988. We are best friends. We have three children (two of whom are married, along with their spouses) and three grandchildren. Our family has been one of God’s greatest blessings in our lives.

We were both raised in church and know Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Throughout our marriage, we have experienced the proverbial ups and downs, as we all do. Yet we can attest to this truth: our Father in Heaven has been with us every step of the way. He provided guidance and direction when we sought Him, and He has shown the same love, care, and mercy even in moments when we did not. Praise Him for His grace and faithfulness in our lives.

This blog is our opportunity to share moments from our journey where we believe God clearly whispered to us—and those miraculous moments where we believe He “winked” at us, reminding us of His mercy, provision, and love.

There are simply too many moments in our walk with God to chalk them up to coincidence. Time and again, circumstances have unfolded in ways that make us say, “You can’t make this stuff up.” We believe God lovingly guides and directs all His children who love and seek Him. We never want to appear arrogant or give the impression that we are somehow special beyond anyone else. We simply believe that God loves each of us deeply, and He reveals His presence in both the small things and the big things—if we are paying attention.

Our prayer is that you will find encouragement and blessing in what you read here. We want this to be His message to those who visit, not merely our own words. We pray that we are good stewards in sharing the moments where we have witnessed God at work in our lives.

We especially hope this space encourages those who struggle to “see” God in their own circumstances. We understand that struggle—we’ve been there. There were seasons when we could not clearly see or feel Him in the moment. Yet we know this: He never left us. Even when we couldn’t recognize it at the time, He was carrying us every step of the way. Looking back, His faithfulness is unmistakable.
